Knitwear
Knitwear does not require washing after each use, as wool possesses natural antibacterial and odour-resistant properties. Instead, allow garments to air out between wears.
When washing knitwear, use a machine wash setting at 30ºC with a gentle spin.
Utilising a wool detergent will extend the lifespan of the knit. It is advisable to avoid fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibres and reduce breathability.
To dry knitwear, hang it to air dry and reshape it while it is still damp. The heat from tumble dryers may lead to fibre shrinkage. Pilling is a natural occurrence with wear. This can be easily addressed by using a pilling comb or a fabric shaver.
